• Profile information: Name, date of birth, ethnicity, and menopause stage — provided during onboarding to personalise your experience.
• Health data: Symptom logs, severity ratings, mood, sleep duration, and other health-related information you choose to record.
• Chat messages: Conversations with our AI companion to provide contextual support.
• Usage data: How you interact with the app to improve our services.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide personalised symptom predictions and health insights.
• Power the AI chat companion with context about your health.
• Generate doctor-ready reports based on your logged data.
• Recommend relevant wellness exercises.
• Improve the accuracy of our prediction models.
• Communicate important service updates.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. All database tables are protected with Row Level Security (RLS), meaning only you can access your own data. API requests are authenticated using secure tokens.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties. Your data is used solely to power MenoAI's features for you. The only third-party service that processes your data is Anthropic (Claude AI) for chat and prediction functionality — this data is not stored by Anthropic and is processed under their data privacy commitments.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of all your data at any time.
• Export your health data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

MenoAI is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of MenoAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
